Frequently asked Questions
HOW MANY DAYS USE DO I GET?
Your allocation depends on your share size. A 1/4th share entitles you to 84 days per annum, which includes options for 10 consecutive day bookings in peak times and 14 in non peak.
WHAT SAFETY MEASURES ARE IN PLACE?
HeliCo operate to rigorous safety standards underpinned by a CAA certified Safety Management System. All operations are undertaken with safety as the highest priority.
The helicopters are maintained by our internal team of experienced and qualified engineers who ensure the helicopters are kept in exceptional mechanical condition.
HOW DOES THE BOOKING SYSTEM WORK?
Just log in and pick your dates! We’ve got a well-oiled, tried and tested online booking system. Days are split into both peak and off-peak, which gives all owners balanced and equitable usage, with the ability to book ahead as well as some freedom to be spontaneous.
WHAT IS THE HOURLY ENGINE RATE?
The hourly engine rate is the amount charged per hour of engine use. This is an estimated hourly operating cost based on the helicopters maintenance requirements.
CAN I SELL MY HELICOPTER SHARE AT ANY TIME?
Yes. You can either choose to sell your share privately or you can choose to engage us as a broker. Either way, we take care of all the legal work and technicalities to complete the transaction on your behalf.

No. Pilots can be hired through us.
DO I NEED TO LIVE IN AUCKLAND TO HAVE A SHARE?

WHERE ARE THE HELICOPTERS KEPT?
All our helicopters are based and managed out of Orbit Helicopters, North Shore Airport.
